Haws Auto Body incorporated located in Concord and Lafayette are two of the bay area’s premier collision repair facilities. They have always stood for superior customer service and quality repairs for over 25 years. Now they are taking its sustainable business to the next level with the Glasurit 90 line. Glasurit 90 line is water based automotive refinishing system with the same superior quality that Haws has come to expect from the Glasurit paint line. In a conversation with Terry Haws founder and President of Haws Auto Body he said that “The 90 line is a great improvement to the environment over the previous paint that we have been spraying. Along with our active campaign to recycle cardboard, paper, aluminum, steel, thinners, paints, coolants, plastics, electronics and e-waste This is the obvious next step to doing our part to be a sustainable business. I feel that everyone needs to do everything they can to decrease their carbon foot print; every little bit helps.” The automotive industry has a reputation of not being kind to our environment. It is nice to see that local businesses along with big corporations are working together for the good of our planet.

Terry Haws installed the 90 line in his Lafayette location and started using it exclusively the first of May and will be rolling it into the Concord location around the beginning of August 2009. All employees applying the new 90 water based paints are trained by the Glasurit Company, and all repairs come with a full warrantee.
